Greater Access to the Test Media
The ATF10C features a design that allows greater access to the test media. Knives with bolsters can make it difficult to getĀ the heel of the blade onto the media without hitting the Text Fixture. In the interest of being able to test all of the blade, Edge On Up created the Competition Test Fixture with narrow shoulders and an offset media slot. These bring the test media very close to the edge of the fixture body allowing more of the blade to be tested.
For All PT50 Series Sharpness Testers
The Competition Aluminum Test Fixture works with all three of the PT50 Series Testers: theĀ PT50A Industrial Edge Tester, the PT50B Pro Edge Tester and the PT50C Home Edge Tester.
Test Media Sold Separately
The Competition Aluminum Test Fixture is sold without any Test Media. AdditionalĀ DoubleX+ Test Media is available for refilling Aluminum Test Fixtures, but must be purchased separately.
