When used as a finishing step after sharpening on stones, and as a maintenance step in between sharpenings, stropping removes burrs, straightens edges and polishes to a high degree. It is sized to perfectly fit the 8" Dia-Sharp andĀ 8" Double-Sided Dia-Sharp stones, and can be used on larger stones as well.
